We’re almost halfway through Apex Legends Season 12 and the new Warriors event has just dropped. Revolving around ancient gladiatorial-themed armor, players will have a whole bunch of new cosmetics to chase after. While many are locked behind spending money, some items — such as weapon charms and skins — can be earned by obtaining Points throughout the event. Along with these items, there’s a new challenge you can complete in the Firing Range as Bangalore. However, starting this challenge can be a bit confusing, as it will ask you to first finish the prologue if you go to the Firing Range right away.
Here’s how to complete Bangalore’s challenge:
(Author’s Note: Since all of the Chapters haven’t been released, I will update this every week when a new challenge is available.)
Bangalore Challenge
How to Complete the Prologue
To complete the prologue, go to the main menu and click the arrows to cycle through your different challenges. Keep going until you hit the one shown above, which will prompt you to visit the “Story Tracker,” and display how many chapters you’ve completed. Once you open up the Story Tracker, click on Start in the bottom left corner. This will complete the prologue and give you access to Chapter 1.
How to Complete Chapter 1
Once you gain access to Chapter 1, go back to the main menu and load into the Firing Range. Despite being a Bangalore challenge, you can actually do this on any character. Starting the challenge will cause you to swap to this character, so don’t worry about changing to her while you’re in the lobby. After arriving at the Firing Range, go to the lone weapon rack holding the G7 Scout in the Heavy weapons section (shown above). When next to the rack, you’ll be prompted to “Start Scout of Action Challenge.”
Upon starting the challenge, you will be holding the G7 Scout and looking at several rows of those square targets. Your goal is to shoot as many of the blue targets as possible within a single minute. Your goal is to hit 35, which is actually pretty simple even if you miss many shots. Whenever you shoot a blue-colored target, it will flip and become red, meaning you can’t just keep shooting the same target over and over again. After completing the challenge, you will be shown a brief dialogue exchange between Wraith and Bangalore.
The image shown will then become a new loading screen you can use. You’ll also gain access to the next chapter, which should unlock on Saturday. Additionally, players will earn the Scout of Action tracker, which showcases your high score for this challenge. This can be used on any legend and you can always attempt to raise your high score by going back into the Firing Range. You won’t get the cutscene or dialogue at the start, though — this will just be the challenge itself and there are no extra rewards (outside of bragging rights) for getting a higher score.
How to Complete Chapter 2
To complete Chapter 2, head into the Firing Range as Bangalore and go to the left side where the shotguns and supply drop weapons spawn. You will see a lone stand in the middle with a bow, so approach it and interact with this object. Unsurprisingly, this is another target shooting challenge, but this time you need to achieve a score of 1,000 in under a minute with the bow. Points are determined by where you hit the moving target with 105 rewarded for bulleyes and 60 points for hitting around the center. If you’re really off the center you’ll only get 54 points. There are no additional targets, but this one will move back and forth across the course.
The trick is to lead your shot by a few centimeters since the arrow is a projectile and not hit-scan. Your best method is to just fire the bow as fast as possible a little a head of the target’s center until you get over 1,000 points. About halfway through the challenge the target will move more erratically and even flip to a red side which won’t award points when hit. However, if you are just shooting a lot of arrows right away you should either be near or well beyond the 1,000 point mark. Upon completing this challenge you will earn another dialogue exchange between Bangalore and her brother, along with a new loading screen and tracker that displays your highest score.
How to Complete Chapter 3
For Chapter 3, head back to the Firing Range for a third time as Bangalore. When you arrive, head down towards the front of the gun racks and go to the left side. You should see a sole gun rack with a P2020 pistol on it. Picking up this gun will start the challenge, which requires you to score over 1,250 damage against enemies hidden in Ba1ngalore’s smoke. Thankfully, your P2020 is equipped with a Digital Threat sight which highlights the enemies in red when you aim down the sights. You’ll have a minute to deal this much damage, which isn’t that difficult given the vast majority of these enemies won’t move. Once you hit 1,000 points the targets will begin walking around, but they should be easy enough to track.
After passing the required score you’ll earn another dialogue exchange, this time between Loba and Bangalore. I’ll keep what they talk about secret, but if you’re invested in Bangalore’s search for her brother it’s starting to get really interesting. After the exchange, you’ll get another new loading screen and a tracker displaying your highest score for the Smokeshow challenge.
How to Complete the Finale
Your final step in the Bangalore challenge requires you to go to Stormpoint. Open up your story tracker and then look for the box on the far right titled “Finale.” Next to it will be a button called “Launch,” so pick this to load up the last chapter in this story quest. This can only be done alone and I won’t spoil what happens for those wanting to experience the story for themselves. Just follow the prompts and you’ll be done with this challenge in just a few minutes. After going back to the lobby you’ll earn a Bangalore-themed Apex Pack for all your trouble!
