Destiny 2 Antiquarian Guide - Where to Return the Relic

It belongs in a museum

Avast Guardians, Season of Plunder is here! This space pirate-themed Destiny 2 season is all about crossing blades with Fallen House of Salvation, hunting for buried treasure, and working with everyone’s favorite scoundrel, the Drifter. Of course, there is a bunch of new loot to chase after including a whole suite of weapons that you can farm and craft. While this will be the main focus for a lot of players, others will be completing the new Seasonal Challenges for experience and rewards. One of these Destiny 2 challenges is Antiquarian I, which tasks you with killing enemies on Europa and returning a relic to the H.E.L.M. However, where you need to drop this off can be a bit confusing, so here’s where you need to go.

How to Complete Antiquarian I

To beat the Antiquarian I challenge, first, you’ll need to kill enemies on Europa. It doesn’t matter where those enemies are, however, you will gain bonus progress for using a fusion rifle. I recommend trying out the new Delicate Tomb as it absolutely shreds through enemies if you’re using an Arc subclass and any fragments tied to Ionic Traces. If you’re just going through the weekly story quest you should easily finish this challenge step and won’t need to farm additional enemies.

As for where to put the relic you earn at the end of the story quest, go to the H.E.L.M. and approach the table directly across from the Star Chart (shown above). You will be given a prompt to place the relic, which will complete the Antiquarian I challenge this week. You will be unlocking more relics throughout the season, so make sure to bring them here when you beat the pirate hideout.

Remember to turn in your challenge so you earn a Repute. This is used to unlock upgrades in the Star Chart, which can give you access to new treasure maps, Fallen allies, or various buffs during Season of Plunder activities. Make sure to finish the Antiquarian I challenge as soon as possible since those Star Charts rewards can ease the grind in Destiny 2.
