Destiny 2 Season of the Splicer is here and it’s time to elevate your fashion game. Along with new weapons, a 6 player activity, exotics, story missions, and season pass, the heavily requested armor transmogrification feature is finally arriving. In this season, players will team up with the Fallen Captain Mithrax to stop the Vex from plunging Earth into total darkness. Just like last season, players can hunt down a new Pinnacle Weapon that is perhaps the best PVE fusion rifle in the entire game. So if you were a fan of the Loaded Question or just fusion rifles in general, here’s how to get the Null Composure.
How to Get Null Composure
The Null Composure quest technically only has one step, but it requires a lot of grinding. You will need to fill up two percentage bars. You’ll gain progress towards the top bar by killing enemies in playlist activities, with bonus progress awarded to those who use fusion rifles, get Solar kills, and disintegrations. There are a lot of ways to go about this, but far and away the best method is by using a Solar fusion rifle. One you can obtain this season is the Trinity System which is a possible Gambit reward. Additionally, you can use the Last Wish raid exotic, One Thousand Voices which is also a fusion rifle.
If you don’t have a Solar fusion rifle, some alternative weapon choices are Hollow Words, Devil’s Ruin, Glacioclasm, or Zealot’s Reward. While your progress won’t be as drastic as if you were using a Solar fusion rifle, these are still great guns to use. Don’t forget to slap on a Fusion Rifle Ammo Finder mod to ensure you can always utilize your fusion rifle during strikes. If you’re in a full fireteam, you can just keep loading up the Strike playlist until you get The Corrupted. When this happens, just pull out your Sparrow and head towards the Blind Well. There will be far more enemies here in a much greater density, making it quite easy to fill up your progress bar!

As for making progress on the second bar, this is solely tied to completing playlist activities. The two best options are Gambit and Crucible matches. Both of these will go by quite quickly – especially if you are playing Teach Scorched or Mayhem. However, if you plan on farming points in the Crucible I strongly recommend completing the top percentage bar in Strikes. Not only will this be faster, but you’ll be able to consistently get more fusion rifle kills. Alternatively, Gambit is always a choice if you don’t mind suffering for a few hours. Not only can you get more fusion rifle kills here, but you will get around 5% progress per win and only a little less if you lose. Since most Gambit matches last around 5-10 minutes, you can quickly fill up this bar.
