Destiny 2 Season of the Haunted is here, and it’s the spookiest addition yet. With the return of Emperor Calus’ mighty Leviathan, players are tasked with venturing into this massive ship to deduce what has happened to the corrupted vessel. Along with the new Nightmare Containment activity, players can earn new weapons, armor, and cosmetics for their Guardian.
Unsurprisingly, there is a new story mission this week tied to the Bound in Sorrow quest line. However, while the past weeks have ended after the Sever mission, this week will have players completing some additional steps after Caiatl has her faithful meeting aboard the Leviathan. After finishing the Lost Sector on the Moon, Eris will ask that you venture to the lunar pyramid once again in the Enduring Abyss. Here’s how to get to the Enduring Abyss for those who haven’t gone there since Shadowkeep launched!
How to Reach the Enduring Abyss
To start, open up your map and go to the Sorrow’s Harbor landing zone in the northern section of the Moon. Once you land, hop on your sparrow and drive towards the massive crimson-colored spire near the far end of this patrol zone. Once you enter the keep, head down the hall and take the door on the left (shown above). This will lead you down a long hallway filled with all types of Hive runes. Keep following the path and you should load into the Enduring Abyss patrol zone.
Now a waypoint should appear to guide you through the next portion. But if it doesn’t, follow the tunnel until you reach a dark system of caves. It’s easy to get lost down here, so keep taking the first left you come across.
This will bring you to another fork in the road, so take another left and travel down this cave until you emerge in a large chasm where you can see Earth in the sky and a bunch of Nightmares floating around. Continue down this path until you reach the room where you get a view of the massive pyramid and all its creepy glory. Following are tried and true method of sticking to the left, the path will eventually spit you out into the arena where you fought Nightmare Crota in Shadowkeep.
Go to the left side of this arena to find a bunch of dead Cabal. When you approach them, Eris will remark about Calus’ troops visiting the pyramid and ask you to return to the H.E.L.M. This is the last real step for this week’s quest so go back to Eris and speak to her to earn yourself some rewards.
