Season 23 looks like a promising Destiny 2 season, bringing major quality-of-life changes that players have been wanting for a long time. Not only will players be able to access their Vault from orbit, but Master Rahool will solve the issue with Enhancement Prisms and the scarceness of Enhancement Cores.
Starting next season, Master Rahool will allow players to break down Enhancement Cores and Enhancement Prisms for other items. The most important change is the ability to break down one Enhancement Prism into 5 Enhancement Cores for just 2,500 Glimmer. Players can perform these purchases and exchanges three times a week.
In the This Week In Destiny blog post, Bungie lists all of the new costs arriving in Season 23 at Master Rahool. Spending 10 Enhancement Cores and 2,500 Glimmer will give one Enhancement Prism. When players spend 10 Enhancement Prisms and 10,000 Glimmer, they can choose to get one Ascendant Shard or one Ascendant Alloy. Finally, players can spend one Enhancement Prism and 2,500 Glimmer to get five Enhancement Cores.
Not only will this allow players to convert any spare Enhancement Prisms into Enhancement Cores, but this currency exchange can help Masterwork weapons, armor pieces, and Ghost Shells. Players can also focus, purchase, and craft weapons and weapon traits more frequently. This is one of many upcoming currency changes Bungie is making in Destiny 2. The discontinuation of Legendary Shards in favor of using Glimmer and ritual engrams, and Ghost mods updates next season may or may not make the game more approachable.
While we wait for the arrival of Season 23, be sure to check out the Festival of the Lost. There's Hocus Focusing to get armor pieces from previous Destiny 2 expansions, players can collect the brand-new Acosmic grenade launcher, earn the Exotic Nyxpterón ship, and continue collecting Manifested Pages and Eerie Engrams while tackling those Headless Ones.
