How to Access the Mogpendium From Anywhere in FFXIV

The Moogle Treasure Trove the First Hunt for Genesis launched on Jan. 30, kicking off Final Fantasy XIV’s first Moogle Treasure Trove event of the year. But the new event format came with a lot of changes, primarily the introduction of the Mogpendium. 

The Mogpendium gives players a specific list of challenges to complete to earn Irregular Tomestones of Genesis I. However, apart from talking to the Itinerant Moogle’s in the major cities, it’s not obvious how to access this critical compendium of challenges elsewhere. Here’s how to access the Mogpendium from anywhere in FFXIV.

Where to find the FFXIV Mogpendium

The Mogpendium isn’t immediately accessible unless you’ve already unlocked it. First, head to one of the Itinerant Moogles in Limsa Lominsa, Ul’dah, or New Gridania. Then speak to the Moogle to unlock the Mogpendium. 

The mistake some players make now is thinking they need to return to the Itinerant Moogle anytime they need to open the Mogpendium, but there is an easier way. First head to the “Duty” part of your Main Menu bar. Then select “Collection.” There you’ll find a small book icon which is your Mogpendium. This is how you can access the Mogpendium at any time. 

You can also pull your Mogpendium onto a hotbar, which is definitely recommended. This way you can check up on what you need to complete and your progress, particularly on Weekly Challenges, at any time.

Completing the Mogpendium in FFXIV

The Mogpendium is a core part of the Moogle Treasure Trove the First Hunt for Genesis, and will likely be essential to both parts of the event. The Weekly and Minimog Challenges will be updated weekly, while the Standard and Ultimog Challenges will remain unchanged throughout. Check your Mogpendium regularly to make sure you're on track.

Players have until March 11 at 7:59am PDT to get the rewards they need for the first part of the event, and there is no date yet for when the second part of the Moogle tomestone event will start.
