At long last, Destiny 2 Season of the Haunted has arrived. As expected, there’s a whole new seasonal quest to follow through, as well as new armor sets, weapons, and a haunting atmosphere in every corner. Considering how much is there to unpack, from Solar 3.0 to yet another list of weapon ornaments, we’re diving into all things Destiny 2. This guide focuses on the Destiny 2 Season of the Haunted calendar, including all event dates and when the season ends.
When does the Destiny 2 Season of the Haunted End?
Season of the Haunted ends on August 23, so while there is plenty of time to go, make sure to keep track of any seasonal activities before the end date.
Destiny 2 Season of the Haunted Calendar – Trials of Osiris, New Dungeon, Solstice, and more
Season of the Risen was a fairly short season all things considered, or at least it felt that way. The seasonal quest, called Operation Elbrus, ran for just four weeks. While there were some activities here and there, including the Guardian Games, the attention was tailored to The Witch Queen expansion.

In comparison, Season of the Haunted seems bigger in almost every way. The seasonal quest is set to be a long one, involving new activities such as Nightmare Containment and Sever quests, both of which involve the presence of terrifying hauntings, and some interesting developments with the primary crew of characters, from Zavala to Crow. I wonder what Crow thinks of the new My Chemical Romance song.
For all of you Iron Banner players, or Rift lovers from the original Destiny, Bungie is combining the two. The caveat is that there will only be two weeks this time around, so better prepare beforehand. Until then, there’s a new dungeon forthcoming, Solstice, Grandmaster Nightfalls, and tons more.
That is everything there is to know about the Destiny 2 Season of the Haunted calendar. Have fun, and keep an eye out for what’s lurking in the shadows. You can never be too safe out there in the presence of nightmares.
