Kung Lao is a pacifist monk who would prefer not to fight… Unless it’s to prove his strength to rival Liu Kang. However, when push comes to shove, Kung Lao will not hold back, and his Fatalities are as brutal as any other fighter on the Mortal Kombat 11 roster. Find out more in our Mortal Kombat 11 Kung Lao Fatalities guide!
No matter how old the series gets, Mortal Kombat is still probably best known for its Fatalities. And Mortal Kombat 11 is far from an exception. Over-the-top and violent, Fatalities are a spectacle of blood and brutality. Although they shouldn’t be confused with the (faster, but equally lethal) Brutalities of Mortal Kombat 11. From burning to dismemberment, every character has a bizarrely gory bag of tricks to work with. And today we’re looking at all the Kung Lao Fatalities in Mortal Kombat 11.

Kung Lao Fatality 1: Headed Nowhere – Mortal Kombat 11
The first Kung Lao Fatality in Mortal Kombat 11 also starts at close range. You can trigger it with the following inputs: Down, Forward, Back, Down, Back Punch (Triangle on PS4, Y on Xbox One, Y on Switch).
The Fatality begins with a graceful swipe of the bladed hat from Kung Lao, beheading the opponent and sending the head flying. He kicks the body and teleports behind them, bisecting the torso on the way up. Finally, he throws the hat through the space between the two still standing body parts — just in time to scalp the enemy’s head on its way down. For a pacifist Kung Lao sure knows how to cut someone up…

Kung Lao Fatality 2: Meat Slicer – Mortal Kombat 11
The second Kung Lao Fatality in Mortal Kombat 11 also starts at close range. You can trigger it with the following inputs: Down, Forward, Down, Front Kick (X on PS4, A on Xbox One, B on Switch).
This finishing move employs Kung Lao’s iconic hat… Who could have guessed! This time, though, he starts at the bottom and works his way up. And he does so by setting the bladed hat spinning in the air. Then Kung Lao grips his opponent by the wrists and takes them for a ride: wheeling them into the buzzsaw again and again. He bisects what’s left with a carefully timed throw to close things out.
