Mortal Kombat 11 Fatalities Guide – How to Peform Sheeva’s Fatalities

Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath is now live, so hop in your time machine because we’re going back to the past (regrettably without Samurai Jack). Taking place directly after the events of the base game’s campaign, players will get to see Shang Tsung, Fujin, and Nightwolf venture into the past to try and steal Kronika’s crown. Along the way, they will come across returning series character Sheeva, who is a Shokan from Outworld. One of three new characters, Sheeva is a brutal fighter that specializes in grappling her opponents. Just like other characters in MK11, Sheeva has two Fatalities you can utilize at the end of a match.

How to Perform Sheeva’s Fatalities

However, we need to quickly go over the shorthand we will be using for both Fatalities and the Fatality Tokens. Since Mortal Kombat 11 is available on multiple systems, each with its own button layout, the fighting game community put together a simple method of explaining button inputs. Just look at the small list below to see what buttons correspond to the number assigned to it. Then, in-game, just hit the button the would be tied to that number on whatever system you’re playing. For example, if you’re on PS4 and I ask you hit 3 that means press X on your controller.

  • 1 – X (Xbox One) / Square (PS4) / Y (Switch)
  • 2 – Y (Xbox One) / Triangle (PS4)  / X (Switch)
  • 3 – A (Xbox One) / X (PS4) / B (Switch)
  • 4 – B (Xbox One) / Circle (PS4) / A (Switch)

Keep in mind, where Sheeva is standing does matter when you are performing a Fatality. Depending on which one you are performing she will need to stand at a close, medium, or far distance from an opponent. Remember, Sheeva’s second Fatality, Spinal Tap, will be locked when you first start playing. You can obtain it by either finding it in the Krypt or performing the move in Fatality Training. We suggest the latter since it only takes about two minutes and you’ll then be able to see the inputs whenever you check Sheeva’s move list.

  • Stomp the Yard – Down, Down, Down, 1 (Close)
  • Spinal Tap – Forward, Down, Down, Forward, 3 (Close)

For those that want to make performing these brutal finishing moves even easier, consider using a Fatality Token. These take almost all the work out of using a Fatality and can be great if you don’t feel like memorizing this list of button inputs. Stomp the Yard simply requires you to hold the Block button and press 3, while Spinal Tap asks you to hold the Block button and hit 4. Doing so will instantly consume a Fatality Token and cause Sheeva to perform whichever one you picked. Now you can pummel your foes into oblivion in a truly grotesque way!
