One of the biggest parts of every Pokemon game is deciding how you want to evolve your first Eevee. While you can eventually get them all, you might be wondering how to get specific Eevee evolutions (Eevee-lutions?). The good news is that both Glaceon and Leafeon are now easier to get than ever! Where to Get an Eevee
You can find Eevee along Route 4 at any time of day. Those who played Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee can also receive one for free in the train station soon after speaking with the professor. Just speak to the NPCs inside the station.
Eevee Evolution Requirements
Gone are the days of leveling up Eevee near a Moss Rock or an Ice Rock. Just use an Ice or Leaf Stone! The rest of the evolutions go largely unchanged.
- Leafeon: Use a Leaf Stone.
- Glaceon: Use an Ice Stone.
- Jolteon: Use a Thunder Stone.
- Vaporeon: Use a Water Stone.
- Flareon: Use a Fire Stone.
- Espeon: Level up with happiness at 220 during the day.
- Umbreon: Level up with happiness at 220 during the night.
- Sylveon: Level up with affection at 50 from the Pokemon Camp. Eevee must know a Fairy-type move.
Where to Get Evolution Stones in Pokemon Sword & Shield
Still missing some of the evolution stones for Eevee? Here’s roughly where you can find them.
Leaf Stone
You can find a Leaf Stone in Turffield. Head up the hill out of the city until you encounter a female NPC. Take the path to her right and the Leaf Stone will be on the ground.
Ice Stone
Head to Route 9. With the Rotom bike’s water mode, go into the water to the upper-right corner of the lake. The glinting stone should be on the ground.
Thunderstone
Again, make sure you have the bike’s water mode. Then head to the Lake of Outrage wild area. Cross the lake and the Thunderstone is on the ground.
Water Stone
Another wild area houses the Water Stone. Go to the one in Bridge Field and look for a wall surrounding Motostoke. There’s an energy well along the wall which is nearby the Water Stone.
Fire Stone
And finally, for the Fire Stone, go to the Lake Miloch wild area. Use the bridge to cross the river and follow the wall to your left. The stone will be along the base of the wall.
More Stones
Alternatively, you can head to the Lake of Outrage where there’s a giant circle of stones. Each one has an evolution stone behind it. These will periodically respawn, providing you with as many evolution stones as you need.
