Hey, I’m a day late this week. Sorry. This is a huge week in Japanese wrestling, with Wrestle Kingdom 14 lasting two nights and tons of other promotions taking advantage of the number of wrestling fans who will be in Tokyo. Have a good and safe New Years Week. I love you all.

MONDAY: All I watched from Monday Night Raw was that excellent wedding segment, and that’s all I need to see to recommend all three hours of it.

TUESDAY: Beyond’s Heavy Lies the Crown is one of their biggest events of the year and this one looks pretty fun. There’s a fans bring the weapons match. I love those.

WEDNESDAY: AEW Dynamite has all kinds of cool matches in this week’s show. Like, Trent? vs Jon Moxley and Riho is finally back.

THURSDAY: Ice Ribbon‘s New Years Eve show will stream two days later on Nico Pro, and has Tequila Saya’s retirement 38-person gauntlet match.

FRIDAY: Tokyo Joshi Pro‘s first show of the year has a ton of good looking matches on it. The main event of Yuka Sakazaki defending the Princess of Princess Championship against Miyu Yamashita should be killer, but the rest of the card also looks good. Maki Itoh vs Hikari Noa, Mizuki vs Thunder Rosa, Shoko Nakajima vs Hyper Misao, me still crying about the end of NEO Biishiki-Gun, all kinds of good stuff.

SATURDAY: New Japan Wrestle Kingdom 14. It’s the biggest show of the year. Kota Ibushi vs Kazuchika Okada. Are you nuts? What else would I recommend??

SUNDAY: New Japan Wrestle Kingdom 14 is TWO NIGHTS LONG okay!? Wild. Anyways, the second night has Jushin Thunder Liger retiring and Chris Jericho vs Hiroshi Tanahashi. Full card preview for both nights can be found here.
