Raiden Mortal Kombat 11 Fatalities Guide - Inputs List & Videos

Raiden is an Elder God. It’s his duty to protect the Earthrealm from fiends, demons, and whatever else may come his way! As his name suggests, Raiden has incredible lightning-based abilities — and you get to see the full extent of his powers with his Fatalities. Find out more in our Mortal Kombat 11 Raiden Fatalities guide!

No matter how old the series gets, Mortal Kombat is still probably best known for its Fatalities. And Mortal Kombat 11 is far from an exception. Over-the-top and violent, Fatalities are a spectacle of blood and brutality. Although they shouldn’t be confused with the (faster, but equally lethal) Brutalities of Mortal Kombat 11. From burning to dismemberment, every character has a bizarrely gory bag of tricks to work with. And today we’re looking at all the Raiden Fatalities in Mortal Kombat 11.

Raiden Fatality 1: Alternating Current – Mortal Kombat 11

Alternating Current is the first Raiden Fatality in Mortal Kombat 11, and it’s a brutal use of the demigod’s lightning abilities. You can trigger it at mid-range with the following inputs: Back, Down, Back, Front Punch (Square on PS4, X on Xbox One, Y on Switch).

Raiden’s first Fatality begins with him shooting red lightning into his foe, lifting them into the air. He then releases the lightning, which enters the victim and rips their limbs off, though they are still attached by an electric current. Raiden forces the dismembered body parts together to make a strange body part ball… thing. Finally, the Elder God thrusts a lightning ball into the body parts, causing them to go flying. It’s a bit of overkill, but Raiden can’t be shown up. He’s got a reputation to maintain!

Take a look for yourself in the video embedded above! We’ve got a nice, clean recording of both of them in the same video. But clicking the one above this subheading will show you the one you need automatically.

Raiden Fatality 2: Direct Current – Mortal Kombat 11

Direct Current is, appropriately enough, the second Raiden Fatality in Mortal Kombat 11. And it also shows off his electric abilities — albeit in a different light than usual. You can trigger it at mid-range with the following inputs: Down, Forward, Back, Front Kick (X on PS4, A on Xbox One, B on Switch).

This time we get to see Raiden use those neat lightning swords shown in the introductory cutscene of Mortal Kombat 11. He uses them to remove his foe’s arms, as well as soften up their torso. Then we get another dose of that magnetic force his lightning exuded in the first Fatality. But this time, he directs it right into the player’s head, and finally pulls their torso off the wait by its root. The whole shebang concludes when Raiden gets bored and just blows up the opponent’s head.

And those are all the Fatalities for Raiden in Mortal Kombat 11! Thanks for taking the time to check them out, and please spare some a little bit more to see the rest of our Fatality guides for the game on the site. We’ll be sure to include more as the Mortal Kombat 11 DLC makes its inevitable debut, too. So stay tuned!
