Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is officially live and it’s time to roll for initiative! Set in the Borderlands equivalent of Dungeons & Dragons, players will join explosive aficionado Tiny Tina and her crew in a game of Bunkers and Badasses. While this title retains the same shooter/looter design of the core entries, it embraces a medieval setting that’s constantly changing under the whims of your Bunker-Master, Tina.
While the core aspects of this looter-shooter franchise remain, Wonderlands differentiates itself in a number of ways. Perhaps the biggest is that there’s a hub world that players can run around in a third-person perspective. This lets you reach specific destinations and partake in a variety of quests tied to the hub. One of these is the Shrine of Aaron G, which tasks you with finding four shrine pieces scattered throughout the world.
Shrine of Aaron G Pieces
Shrine of Aaron G Piece #1
The first shrine piece is located in the dungeon conveniently to the left of the main shrine. Go down the sandy hill towards the small town and enter this activity. You won’t get a chest at the end of the dungeon, so make sure to nab the shrine piece before you leave via the portal. This isn’t a difficult dungeon as it’s mainly just the snake people and skeletons.
Shrine of Aaron G Piece #2
The next piece is directly to the right of the main shrine in the two-floor dungeon. You know the drill by now: Enter the dungeon, clear the encounters, and claim the shrine piece at the end. When you exit, you’ll be on the raised ridge, so make sure to also snag the Lucky Dice while you’re up there! Getting these is just as important since each one will improve your luck when loot drops.
Shrine of Aaron G Piece #3
The next shrine piece will require a bit of work if you want to obtain it. From the Shrine of Aaron G, go northwest across the dunes until you reach a ridge with a dungeon that’s currently inaccessible (shown above). Next to the dune will be an NPC who gives you the Pocket Sandstorm, so go and complete this quest. Once you’re done, return to Blatherskite to have him remove the blockade of sand and create a ramp for you to use. Go up the ramp of sand, complete the dungeon, and grab the third shrine piece.
Shrine of Aaron G Piece #4
The final shrine piece is easy to miss since it’s pretty far away from the main shrine. From the third piece, make your way into what looks like an oasis. Go to the southwest, across the river, and through the glass.
Stick along the right side of the cliff until you see a blue energy barrier next to a purple square rune. Interact with the rune on the right to cause the portal to drop, allowing you access to the final piece. Once you have all four, make your way all the way back to the Shrine of Aaron G and interact with it to gain a 25 percent buff to your luck. This can be very helpful — especially once you beat the campaign and are grinding for better gear. I strongly recommend picking this up as quickly as possible since it’s not locked behind the main campaign like the previous shrines.
