As you make your way through Sifu, you’ll come across many noteworthy objects and encounters. The protagonist will register everything from special enemies to keys or flyers that provide background information on the Sifu detective board. This guide explains where to find all collectibles and evidence to complete it in full, gaining access to shortcuts and valuable intel for your walkthrough.

The Squats – Sifu Board Collectibles
Fajar – The Botanist
- Description: He’s the one who cut my throat that night. He’s the first on my list. He works for a gang as a botanist, and never leaves that warehouse.
- Location: You’ll automatically pick this up from the table before you select The Squats and begin the level for the first time, so you can’t miss it.
Skull Letter
- Description: “Locked until we fuckin’ say so!!” — I found this note stuck on a door blocking my way to the warehouse.
- Location: Inside the apartment complex, before you go up the stairs. Continue heading forward to find a locked double glass door. Interact with the door to grab the note.
Avenue Door
- Description: If I can get it open, this will be a useful shortcut.
- Location: Inside the apartment complex, before you go up the stairs. Continue heading forward to find a locked double glass door. Interact with the door to automatically register it on the Sifu detective board.


Purple Mist
- Description: The drug produced here. It appeared a few years after the death of my father, and its use has increased dramatically throughout the city.
- Location: Inside the apartment complex, after going up the stairs and jumping over the rooftops for the first time, you’ll land inside an apartment with a big kitchen separated by a bar. You’ll find the item left of the fridge.


Bills
- Description: Drug money. Dirty money. No doubt blood money too.
- Location: Right after your fight with the mini-boss during the encounter where they teach you how to avoid throws, you’ll find a pile of bills on the desk next to the couch, to the opposite side of the door.


Club Flyer
- Description: “The Burning – 10PM – The Club” — It’s where I hope to face Sean. I overheard one of the thugs talking about betting on something going down there tonight.
- Location: In the subsequent rooms after the mini-boss fight where you learn to avoid throws, you’ll come across a large living room with several enemies inside. Once you’re done taking all of them down, look for the lit room that has a table with money on it at the center.


Metal Gate
- Description: This gate keeps their dirty money safe.
- Location: This is an easy spot — before the fight against the Skull Brothers you’ll find yourself in a long corridor. Approach the metal gate to have it in your detective board.


Bunch of Keys
- Description: Moving through the warehouse will be a lot easier with these keys.
- Location: Obtained right after defeating the Skull Brothers, so you can’t miss it.


Purple Flower
- Description: The flower used to create the “Purple Mist.”
- Location: You can find the item inside the warehouse, sitting on top of the medium table that is close to the long table in the middle.


Keycard 206
- Description: A passkey for a room at The Sanctuary.
- Location: You can find the item as you make your way through a corridor that has an open area to the left before you turn on the corner. There are lamp posts hanging as well as a green cloth in the ceiling. The keycard is right next to a few candles.


Private Room Door
- Description: It looks like someone’s private room.
Location: In the same room as the keycard 206, you’ll find a door behind a piece of cloth. It’s on the right side before you head over to the corridor that leads to The Botanist.


Hongbao
- Description: There are no details about what kind of illness Fajar appears to have.
Location: You won’t be able to get this until after you’ve gotten to The Sanctuary, and then interacted with Room 206. You will find the Flower’s Key there, which will allow you to open the Private Room Door. The Hongbao is sitting on top of the table.


The Club – Sifu Detective Board Collectibles
Finding Sean
- Description: The guy at the entrance told me that I need a special pass if I want to get to Sean.
Location: This one requires a few steps. After you take down the bouncer at The Club’s entrance, head all the way down to find a clerk at the reception. Talk to him and choose Sean? when prompted. He will alert two guards nearby about your presence. Don’t attack the clerk, and instead focus on the two alerted enemies.
Once you take both of them down, don’t leave through the door just yet. The clerk will talk to you — get close to him and you’ll see a ! dialogue prompt. Press it to obtain more information about what to expect — this will grant you the item.
Code Door
- Description: I will need a code for this one. For now I have no idea where this leads to.
- Location: You can find the code door right after the fight on the first dance floor. It’s to the left of the DJ after you pass the bar. Interacting with the door will add it to the board.


Access Door
- Description: I guess it’s the way to participate in ¨The Burning” event.
- Location: You can find the access door right after the fight on the first dance floor. It’s to the right of the DJ after you pass the bar, next to a couch. Interacting with the door will add it to the board.


Disciple’s Pass
- Description: With this pass I can go directly to “The Burning.”
- Location: You can find the disciple’s pass after defeating the mini-boss in the burning area, so you can’t miss it.
Sean’s Values
- Description: I’ve found several sentences on the walls of Sean’s school. He’s brainwashing his disciples with his morbid obsession with strength. Nature will eliminate those who do not look out for themselves. To face death with equanimity. Furious fire burn.
- Location: You can find Sean’s values after the encounter with the mini-boss that uses the pole weapon. As you’re heading through the alleyway in flames with the swinging lanterns, investigate all three sentences written on the walls.


Fire Chest
- Description: An old little box. It looks familiar.
- Location: After the fight with the woman that uses the pole arm, you’ll go through an alleyway that takes you back to the bar. Go downstairs and vault over the counter of the reception, you’ll find the box on a table.


The Three Trials
- Description: I know more about Sean’s school now. Tonight’s event allows him to select a fighter to become a new disciple. There are three trials, but basically only the fittest will make the cut.
- Location: This item is unlocked with a specific dialogue option. You’ll enter the in-door gym, where the first room you encounter has a woman stretching inside next to the altar. Don’t attack anyone. Instead, go all the way to the door and talk to the guard. When prompted, choose Trials? — listening to the conversation will unlock the entry in the Sifu detective board.
Tech Guy
- Description: He’s harmless, just the tech guy.
- Location: This item is unlocked after you’ve obtained the Disciple’s Pass. Once you’ve obtained it, during a future run use the Access Door to the right side of the dance floor after the first group fight inside the club. The room will give you two paths: a door on the right, or a staircase — take the stairs.


- This will lead you to a long corridor with several enemies — you can try and take the first two one-on-one as long as you don’t leave their area. Once you’ve gotten through all of them, open the door to your right.
- You’ll find yourself in a small room with another door, which leads to the studio where the tech guy is. He’s just a little guy.


Fire Key
- Description: An old golden key.
- Location: In order to get this item, you’ll first need to unlock the Club Code from the game’s third stage, The Museum. Once you have it, open the Code Door with it, which is to the left of the pit after the first group fight.


- This will take you to an empty corridor. Traverse it to end inside a room with two enemies. After you take both of them down, you’ll get the Fire Key as a reward.


Sean’s Father
- Description: I remember now, I’ve seen this old box in Sean’s father’s school. There is a portrait of an elder inside and inscription on the back: “Be a teacher for a day, be a father for life.”
- Location: In order to get this item, you’ll first need to unlock the Club Code from the game’s third stage, The Museum. Then, head back to the club and pick up the Fire Key after accessing the Code Door.
- Once you have it, progress through the level until you enter the bar again. Vault over the reception counter to find Sean’s Father picture inside the Fire Chest.
Hacker’s Key
- Description: This USB key should give me access to Jinfeng’s personal computer.
- Location: After you’ve interacted with Jinfeng’s computer in The Tower at least once, head back to The Club and take the shortcut through the Access Door. Instead of continuing towards the trials, take the stairs on the left to get to the Tech Guy. Once you’re in the room with him, you’ll see a new dialogue prompt that says Computer Access. Press it and then choose The Corporation when he asks you about it. He will then give you the USB drive.


The Museum – Sifu Detective Board Collectibles
Museum Map
- Description: The place is like a maze, but if I get it right, I just need to get to the top floor to face Kuroki.
- Location: This is early on into the stage. After you defeat the first two guards, go all the way straight until you see the information booth just next to the staircase on the right.


Elevator
- Description: I need a key to use this elevator.
- Location: I interacted with the elevator early on into the stage, but you can find it on multiple floors. It’s always placed in the center and needs a key to become a shortcut for future runs.


Exhibition: Identity
- Description: Embark on a journey with artists who want to express, explore, and question the concept of identity and what it means to them in today’s ever-changing world.
- Location: As you’re entering the exhibit on the first floor, grab the flyer from the table on the right.


Exhibition: Cycle
- Description: Go on a deep and thoughtful visit through The Cycle, to seek and embrace your own patterns in these works of art.
- Location: As you’re entering the exhibit on the second floor, grab the flyer from the table on the right.


Stairs Access
- Description: Doors to the stairs are locked.
- Location: Found on the third floor, take a detour before entering the art exhibit and head to the right towards the toilets. You’ll see the locked doors, which need access to become a shortcut for later runs.


Sean’s Army
- Description: I’ve encountered several disciples from Sean’s school here. They still help each other, surely because Yang asks them to do so.
- Location: Found on the second floor, you can’t miss them. You’ll come across Sean’s army inside a room with multiple colored lightbulbs in the exhibit.
Exhibition: Twins
- Description: Twins captures the fascinating similarities of identical twins. But just as engaging are the subtle differences between each pair, confirming each twin’s individuality.
- Location: As you’re entering the exhibit on the third floor, grab the flyer from the table on the right.


Museum Keycard
- Description: It opens the doors to the stairs in the atrium.
- Location: On your way to the top of the museum, you’ll be stopped by a mini-boss in the room with the two statues. Once you defeat him, you’ll automatically obtain the museum keycard.
Artist Residence Door
- Description: The door has an old lock.
- Location: On the top floor of the museum, before entering the exhibit, go all the way to the right and past the first locked door. You’ll find the Artist Residence in between the two locked doors.


Family Photo
- Description: Kuroki had a twin. Must be why she is so obsessed with her own image. Something terrible seems to have happened to her at some point in her life.
- Location: Obtained inside the Artist Residence Door. You will first need to get the Artist’s Key from The Tower.


- Once you have the key, head back to The Museum and take the stairs. Go all the way up to the top floor and take a turn to the left to find the Artist Residence Door. Open it and get inside. It’s an eerie place — the Family Photo is found on the interlevel, next to the massive painting.


Temporary Exhibition
- Description: Visit the latest exhibition from Kuroki, a vivid and intense voyage throughout the psyche.
- Location: On the top floor of the museum, before entering the exhibit, make sure to grab the flyer for the exhibit from the desk against the glass.
Club Code
- Description: I found this on one of Sean’s disciples. There is a code written on the back of it.
- Location: After you’ve obtained the museum keycard, take the stairs to go to the third floor. In a normal run, you usually take the door on the right while the one on the left is inaccessible — you can unlock it with the keycard now.


- Once you do, you’ll stumble upon a woman who is looking at a mask in the exhibition. Approach her to begin the encounter. If you manage to defeat her, the club code will be yours. You can now access that second door in The Club.


Strange Mask
- Description: This mask seems to be mocking me.
- Location: After you defeat the woman who is looking at the mask on the third floor, interact with the green mask against the wall.


Elevator Key
- Description: The elevator key.
- Location: Obtained after defeating the twins as you go through the last exhibit on the top floor. It’s obtained right after you defeat them, so don’t worry about missing it.
The Tower – Sifu Detective Board Collectibles
Art Auction
- Description: Kuroki’s Museum is heavily funded by Jinfeng. This is a flyer promoting the collaboration between the two entities, and the auction they held to raise money for the grand opening.
- Location: You can find the flyer in the tower lobby. After the reception and before you get into the elevators, head inside the room on the left and grab the item from the table against the wall.


Elevator
- Description: I need a keycard to use this elevator.
- Location: For this one, interact with the elevator on the right side in the tower lobby. You’ll need a keycard to turn it into a shortcut.


Jinfeng’s Computer
- Description: Jinfeng’s personal computer. I need the password to unlock it.
- Location: After you go up in the elevator and meet Jinfeng, interact with her computer. If you’re wondering how to access it, read the following entry.


Hacker’s Key
- Description: This USB key should give me access to Jinfeng’s personal computer.
- Location: After you’ve interacted with Jinfeng’s computer at least once, head back to The Club and take the shortcut through the Access Door. Instead of continuing towards the trials, take the stairs on the left to get to the Tech Guy. Once you’re in the room with him, you’ll see a new dialogue prompt that says Computer Access. Press it and then choose The Corporation when he asks you about it. He will then give you the USB drive.


Jinfeng’s Safe
- Description: I’ve found another one of these old boxes in Jinfeng’s safe. The box is empty.
- Location: After you’ve grabbed the USB drive from the Tech Guy, interact with Jinfeng’s computer again. This will open a safe on the right wall, which has two items inside.
Artist’s Key
- Description: An old silver key.
- Location: You can find this inside Jinfeng’s safe after you’ve used the USB drive from the Tech Guy on her computer.
The Guardian’s Vow
- Description: A vow that swears to protect the talismans. It is signed by a group called The Guardians. It looks ancient. My father, Sean’s father and Jinfeng’s names are on it.
- Location: You can find this inside Jinfeng’s safe after you’ve used the USB drive from the Tech Guy on her computer.
The Sanctuary
- Description: Yang’s sanctuary. Looks like it was financed by Jinfeng’s company. There’s a list of traditional Chinese healing methods used at the place.
- Location: You can find this flyer in the room with the enemies that are teaching two disciples. Once you take all of them down, the screen will blink and showcase a logo that looks like half of the sun. If you approach the table underneath, you’ll see the flyer on top.


The Rift
- Description: Instead of having to go on the top of the building, I need to go deeper underground to find Jinfeng. I sense a strong calling coming from the depths of this place.
- Location: This is obtained automatically after the encounter on the elevator shaft.
A Conspiracy
- Description: The five kung-fun schools destroyed eight years ago, and the four masters killed. They were called The Guardians. Jinfeng betrayed them, she planned it all right here with Yang and the others.
- Location: This is obtained automatically once you enter the room with the first mini-boss in the underground area of the tower.
Elevator Keycard
- Description: The elevator keycard.
- Location: This is obtained automatically once you defeat the second mini-boss in the underground area of the tower.


The Sanctuary – Sifu Detective Board Collectibles
Newspaper
- Description: Today marks the eight anniversary of The Sanctuary that sits high above the city. Founded by a former martial artists, it has welcomed many patients over the years, providing a full range of traditional healing techniques.
- Location: This is obtained in the building’s reception. Before moving to the next hall, turn left and head inside the room where a woman is sitting. Grab the newspaper from the table.


Inner Garden Door
- Description: I need a keycard to get through this door.
- Location: Found on the hall right after going through reception.


Room 206
- Description: Fajar’s room at The Sanctuary.
- Location: Inside the second building, go up the stairs and head all the way down the hall to Room 206. You will meet a guard beforehand, whom you’ll have to take down in order to open the door.


Flower’s Key
- Description: An old key adorned with the symbol of a flower.
- Location: You can grab the Flower’s Key from inside Room 206.
Fajar’s Medical Report
- Description: Yang has been keeping a very close eye on Fajar’s mental and physical health over the years.
- Location: You can grab Fajar’s Medical Report from inside Room 206.
Aromatic Garden Door
- Description: Locked.
- Location: As you progress through The Sanctuary, you’ll come across a corridor with two doors. If you try to open the double glass door, you’ll find out this is the Aromatic Garden Door.


Aromatic Garden Key
- Description: The key of the aromatic garden.
- Location: Once you find the locked Aromatic Garden Door, you’ll make your way to a room with two enemies. Take them both down to obtain the Aromatic Garden Key — you will then have to backtrack and access the garden using the key.


Statue
- Description: I sense a deep sadness here. I wonder what it means to Yang?
- Location: Once you’re outside and heading towards the stairs that lead to Yang’s office, you’ll have to defeat a group of three enemies. After you do so, and before you continue going upwards, head to the left side to find the statue alongside a man sitting on a bench.


Keycard
- Description: With this keycard I can go directly to Yang’s office.
- Location: As you’re heading to Yang’s office using the stairs, you’ll come across an enemy with a staff right before the door. Take them down to get the keycard.
Alchemist Vows
- Description: This is an ancient scroll signed by The Alchemists.
- Location: You will find this right before the final boss. As you head towards Yang’s office, grab this from the table, which is close to the altar.


Yang’s Flowers
- Description: This was on Yang’s tree, above two tombs. Two lost souls. This was the beginning of the end for him.
- Location: Obtained after defeating Yang for the first time.
The Tombs
- Description: Yang suffered a great loss, a loss that made him bitter and blinded him. Could have things been different?
- Location: Obtained after defeating Yang for the first time.
The Five Values
- Description: This is a symbol I saw in Yang’s office. It represents the five moral values.
- Location: Obtained after defeating Yang for the first time.
Sacred Mountains
- Description: This is where everything ended, once and for all. Everything.
- Location: Obtained after getting the true ending.
