How to unlock Ancient Technology Points in Palworld
Ancient Technology Points are earned after defeating the various Tower Bosses, Cave Dungeons, and Alpha Pals found across Palworld's map for the first time. These formidable enemies respawn after some time, but they won't offer any more Ancient Technology Points after their first defeat.
Tower Bosses
Bosses like Zoe and Grizzbolt found at the Tower of the Rayne Syndicate reward five Ancient Technology Points after defeating them. These fights will be highly trying for players and their Pals, since the enemies have an incredibly high health pool and powerful attacks. It'd be best to ensure you're adequately geared and leveled before taking on any powerful Tower Bosses.
Cave Dungeons
Various cave dungeons are scattered around the map, filled with enemies, wild Pals, and resources for players to discover. Each of them ends with a battle against a boss that rewards one Ancient Technology Point when defeated. These dungeons aren't always available as each has a limited time to participate before rotating to another cave in a different location.
Alpha Pals
Alpha Pals are much larger, more powerful versions of their standard Pal counterparts. They can be seen on the map and display a unique health bar while you're in its vicinity. Defeating or capturing each Alpha Pal gives one Ancient Technology Point.
After earning Ancient Technology Points through whatever method available, you'll still need to meet the level requirement for any Ancient Technology recipe you're trying to unlock. These recipes also require Ancient Civilization Parts earned from defeating the aforementioned bosses.
