This is it. The quest that you began so long ago comes to an end with this last step. This guide will help you unlock your Lux Anima Relic Weapon, the final step for the Relic Weapons introduced in the Heavensward expansion of Final Fantasy XIV. These weapons are no longer best-in-slot, so you’re doing these quests for Glamour purposes and the immense joy of finishing the entire questline. How to Unlock Your Lux Anima Relic Weapon
We return to Ardashir in Azys Lla (X: 7.4, Y: 11.5) one last time! He begins the quest “Words of Wisdom,” which sends you to meet with Rowena in Idyllshire, only to head back to Azys Lla once again. Once that’s done, the real meat here is the quest “Best Friends Forever,” which begins at Ardashir again.
This quest is a Trial grind done in four steps. Your weapon has to be equipped for the Trials, but they can be done unsynced.
- Step 1: Bowl of Embers (Hard), The Howling Eye (Hard), The Navel (Hard)
- Step 2: Thornmarch (Hard), The Whorleater (Hard), The Striking Tree (Hard), Akh Afah Amphitheatre (Hard)
- Step 3: Thok ast Thok (Hard), The Limitless Blue (Hard)
- Step 4: Containment Bay S1T7, Containment Bay P1T6, Containment Bay Z1T9
With all of that done, it’s almost time to turn in the quest. You’ll need some Archaic Enchanted Ink, which you can pick up for 500 Allagan Tomestone of Poetics from several familiar vendors. Those vendors are:
- Auriana in Mor Dhona (X: 22.7, Y: 6.6)
- Hismena in Idyllshire (X: 5.7, Y: 5.2)
- Rowena’s Representative in Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks (X: 9.0, Y: 11.1)
- Rowena’s Representative in Ul’dah – Steps of Nald (X: 9.1, Y: 8.3)
- Rowena’s Representative in New Gridania (X: 11.9, Y: 12.3)
- Rowena’s Representative in Foundation (X: 10.5, Y: 11.8)
Once the Trials are done, deliver the Archaic Enchanted Ink and the Complete Relic Weapon to Ardashir. He will give you the Lux Anime Relic Weapon, the final prize for this entire grind. Congratulations!
