FFXIV Studium Deliveries Guide

Final Fantasy XIV's Shadowbringers expansion replaced the Job Quests that existed since A Realm Reborn for each Disciple of War and Magic job in favor of broader Role Quests that encompassed the specific roles of Tank, Healer, Melee DPS, Physical Ranged DPS, and Magical Ranged DPS. Meanwhile, crafting and gathering jobs received five series of quests known as Crystarium Deliveries as their substitute for individual Job Quests, continuing in the following expansion, Endwalker, in the form of Studium Deliveries.

Following the same format as their predecessor, Crystarium Deliveries, Studium Deliveries are a series of quests associated with the five faculties of The Studium in Old Sharlayan introduced in FFXIV's Endwalker. Each faculty member has a series of quests you can progress with the specific Disciple of the Hand or Land jobs pertaining to it.

The five faculties of The Studium and the level 80 jobs they require are:

• The Faculty of Archaeology - Blacksmith, Armorer or Goldsmith
• The Faculty of Astronomy - Carpenter, Leatherworker or Weaver
• The Faculty of Medicine - Alchemist or Culinarian
• The Faculty of Anthropology - Botanist or Miner
• The Faculty of Aetherology - Fisher

Each faculty has three "major" quests at levels 80, 85, and 90 that advance the overall story of the specific faculty. Several minor quests between those story-advancing quests require the player to turn in specific collectables that meet a minimum collectability threshold, rewarding them with experience and scrips when completed. By focusing on one specific job for each faculty, using Studium Deliveries is an excellent method for leveling crafter and gatherer jobs.

How to unlock Studium Deliveries and its five faculties in FFXIV

After successfully unlocking the Collectables system, and completing the level 82 Main Scenario Quest "Sound the Bell, School's In," head to Old Sharlayan and speak with Qih Aliapoh in Old Sharlayan to take the quest "The Faculty." Each of the five faculties has its own starting quest to unlock them and a specific set of collectables to turn in for each quest line. With certain faculties accessible to multiple Disciples of the Hand or Land jobs, whatever job you choose to progress the faculty in question is up to your discretion.

Faculty of Archaeology (Blacksmith, Armorer or Goldsmith)

You begin the Faculty of Archaeology by taking the quest "Professor Rurusha's New Friend" from Rurusha in Old Sharlayan as a level 80 Blacksmith, Armorer, or Goldsmith. You'll turn in the following list of collectables over the course of this faculty as any of the three previously mentioned jobs:

Faculty of Astronomy (Carpenter, Leatherworker or Weaver)

The Faculty of Astronomy begins by speaking with Jude in Old Sharlayan as a level 80 Carpenter, Leatherworker or Weaver to start the quest "IIn Search of the Azure Star." You'll need the following collectables over the course of this faculty:

Faculty of Medicine (Alchemist or Culinarian)

The quest "Perfectly Awful," given by Debroye in Old Sharlayan to level 80 Alchemists or Culinarians kicks off the Faculty of Medicine quest line. As either job, you'll be required to turn in the following collectables for each step:

Faculty of Anthropology (Botanist or Miner)

To start the gathering-oriented Faculty of Anthropology, take the quest "Cultured Pursuits" given by Hinageshi in Old Sharlayan as a level 80 Botanist or Miner. The collectables you're required to gather, along with the approximate locations for the nodes you'll find them, are the following:

Faculty of Aetherology (Fisher)

The only of the Studium's faculties limited to one job, the Faculty of Aetherology begins by taking the quest "Fear the Thesis" from T'laqa Tia in Old Sharlayan as a level 80 Fisher. The fish required for each step, along with their preferred baits and fishing hole locations are listed below. You must have the "Collect" ability active to ensure the fish you reel in will count toward progression.

Once all five of Studium Deliveries' faculties are complete, you can speak to Qih Aliapoh in Old Sharlayan (X: 4.1, Y: 9.4) to take the finale quest "The Meeting of Minds," which rewards you with the "Overeducated" achievement along with the Golden Dhyata minion.
