The alien invasion is heating up in Fortnite Season 7, and the Week 10 Legendary Quest is here to force you into taking part. Here’s the full set of Fortnite Season 7 Week 10 Legendary Quest steps, how to complete them, and the rewards you’ll get along the way.
Fortnite Season 7 is set to round out on September 12, meaning we’re officially just a month away from starting fresh. If you’ve fallen behind, completing the new Week 10 quests should be your priority. The Legendary Quest will expire this time next week, so be sure to complete all six steps before then. Forget, and you might just have to kiss that final Season 10 Battle Pass reward goodbye. Here’s how to do it:
Fortnite Season 7 Week 10 Legendary Quest Steps List
Like the last two before it, the new Season 7 Week 10 Legendary Quest begins by talking to Doctor Slone via a payphone. That simple task nets you the first reward. Five more tasks follow, however, offering much higher XP rewards for completing increasingly more difficult challenges. Here’s the full set:
Week 10 Legendary Quest Steps
- Get Slone’s orders from a payphone – 15,000 XP
- Damage an opponent in the Slurpy Swamp abduction site – 45,000 XP
- Collect a Grab-itron – 30,000 XP
- Place video cameras at different landing ship locations – 30,000 XP
- Visit an Abductor – 30,000 XP
- Visit Slurp Factory inside the Mothership – 30,000 XP
Note: Clearing one Fortnite Season 7 Week 10 legendary quest step will only unlock the next when you head back to the main lobby screen. You can leave a match after clearing a step to move onto the next. Steps with multiple objectives (like the video camera step) don’t need to be completed in a single match. You can chip away at them across multiple games.
How To Complete the Fortnite Season 7 Week 10 Legendary Quest Steps
Step One: Get Slone’s Orders From a Payphone
The first Season 7 Week 10 Legendary quest step “Get Slone’s orders from a payphone” may sound simple, but tracking down a payphone can be hard if you don’t know where to look.
There are currently 15 payphone locations in Fortnite. Most of these are on a stretch of road outside named locations, generally around the outer edges of the map. The northwest and south/southwest areas place these payphones a little closer. Heading into one of these locations will generally make this step easier. You never know where you’ll be pushed to if a fight breaks out on route to one.
You’ll see the payphone icon on your HUD as you get close. Just float around the outskirts of a named location and you shouldn’t have too much trouble finding a payphone. Pick it up and you’ll talk to Doctor Slone, unlocking the next Week 7 Legendary Quest step.
Step Two: Damage an Opponent in the Slurpy Swamp Abduction Site
This is a fairly self-explanatory mission that simply pushes you to discover and explore the changes around Slurpy Swamp. You’ll find it in the southwest area of the map where things get a noticeably darker shade of green.
Actually completing the task of dealing damage to an opponent in the Slurpy Swamp abduction site shouldn’t be any trouble at all: the mission means the area should be teeming with players to take down. If you’re struggling to find anyone, you can just look for an IO Bot to attack as this counts as an opponent, too. Don’t worry about killing it. Just deal damage to clear the quest and carry on with (or leave) the match.
Step Three: Collect a Grab-itron
The third step of the Week 7 Legendary quests requires you to loot a Grab-itron. How you do that doesn’t matter: from an opponent, a chest, or some place else. Grab-itron locations aren’t fixed. They can spawn just about anywhere. But due to the Epic rarity of the Grab-itron, one great way to find one involves going somewhere with plenty of loot—like the mothership.
If there are Abductors on your map, swing by one to get dragged onto the mothership. Take part in the experiment and you’ll have a good shot at finding a bunch of rare chests in the Vault. There’s a great chance one of these will have a Grab-itron inside.
As it’s only an Epic rarity item, you only need to unlock the four-star Vault during this experiment. Just focus on upgrading it with the orbs, let the timer run out, and collect your loot. To save you from messing around with your inventory, open all the chests before you start looting. Pick up the Grab-itron first to clear the mission before you go grabbing everything else.
Step Four: Place Video Cameras at Different Landing Ship Locations
Step four of the Fortnite Season 7 Week 10 Legendary Quest asks you to head to a bunch of specific in-game locations, dropping video cameras at key points to capture footage of the Fortnite alien threat. It sounds easy, but the set locations means you’ll be fighting off enemies left and right to make Doctor Slone happy. Thankfully, they’re all a slone’s throw away for each other.
You’ll find the first video camera location at Misty Meadows. It’s on a slight hill overlooking the town just above the final S in the “Misty Meadows” map text.
The second video camera location is directly east of the first. It’s between the larger rounded section of the mountains looming over the southern section of Catty Corner. Like the first, it’s on a slight cliff. You should be able to spot it from lower down.
The third and final Legendary Quest Step Four video camera location is just below the main road leading into Retail Row. That’s just north of the previous location. Once you’re done, complete or leave the match to start the next step.
Step Five: Visit an Abductor
The penultimate Week 10 Legendary Quest simply asks you to visit an Abductor. This should be easy enough as these abductors appear in almost every match. They’re even easily visible on the map. Just jump out of the bus and land on top of one to complete this quest before the match has even really begun.
If you don’t happen to see any on there, though, there’s a reason for that: Abductors actually “cycle” in and out of the map throughout the season, meaning it’s actually possible that you simply won’t be able to complete this quest in some matches. Don’t be disheartening if one match doesn’t feature any Abductors: chances are your next match will.
Step Six: Visit Slurp Factory Inside the Mothership
This final Week 10 Legendary Quest requires getting abducted by an abductor. Like the quest before it, this can take a little bit of time if your match isn’t part of the current Abductor cycle. If it is, just head to one of the three ships on the map and survive around the area long enough for it to pull you up into the mothership.
Once you’re abducted and arrive on the mothership, you’ll be locked in a chamber on your own until you’re forcibly teleported to the Vault. This is the Slurp Factory location you’ll need to visit to clear the event. Just head inside the warehouse building in the middle of this map to complete the quest.
And that’s it! Complete this last step and this week’s Legendary Quest saga will come to a close, netting you close to 200,000 XP in the process. It’s one of the easier Season 10 challenges we’ve had so far and won’t take any real time investment to complete. If you think you’re running out the clock on the latest Battle Pass rewards, quickly completing these quests will catch you up in no time at all. All that’s left is the Epic Quest unlocking on August 12 before we have to wait for another weekly Legendary Quest to roll around.
