During today’s State of Play, Square Enix revealed what many people already expected: Final Fantasy VII Remake is getting a port to the PlayStation 5. For those expecting a quick resolution upgrade and faster loading, though, Square Enix is hoping to confound those expectations with some new content.
Dubbed Final Fantasy VII Remake: Intergrade, the revamp of 2020’s April release adds a number of new features and improvements to last year’s game for both the PlayStation 5 version and a PlayStation 4 release. A new chapter featuring Yuffie is also going to be included, along with things like better graphics and a photo mode.
Owners of the PlayStation 4 version will be able to just upgrade to the PS5 one. Intergrade releases on June 10th, but you can catch the trailer for it below.
