Sub-Zero is a mainstay of the Mortal Kombat series, and his Fatalities are as classic as the character himself. Find out more in our Mortal Kombat 11 Sub-Zero Fatalities guide.
No matter how old the series gets, Mortal Kombat is still probably best known for its Fatalities. And Mortal Kombat 11 is far from an exception. Over-the-top and violent, Fatalities are a spectacle of blood and brutality — although they shouldn’t be confused with the (faster, but equally lethal) Brutalities of Mortal Kombat 11. From burning to dismemberment, every character has a bizarrely gory bag of tricks to work with. And today we’re looking at all the Sub-Zero Fatalities in Mortal Kombat 11.

Sub-Zero Fatality 1: Ice-cutioner – Mortal Kombat 11
Ice-Cutioner is the first Sub-Zero Fatality in Mortal Kombat 11, and it makes good use of the character’s frosty abilities. You initiate the finisher at mid-range and the combo string goes like so: Forward, Back, Forward, Back Punch (Triangle on PS4, Y on Xbox One, X on Switch).
This Fatality starts with Sub-Zero trapping most of his enemy’s body in a huge block of ice. He leaves the undoubtedly hypothermic opponent’s head free though, as he crafts himself a nice looking ice axe. He promptly chops the foe’s head off, executioner style, and then picks it up, freezing it before shattering it all to a million pieces. Strangely one of the least gory Fatalities seen yet!

Sub-Zero Fatality 2: Frozen in Time – Mortal Kombat 11
The second Sub-Zero Fatality in Mortal Kombat 11, Frozen in Time, also activates at mid-range. Input it with this command string: Forward, Down, Forward, Back Kick (Circle on PS4, B on Xbox One, A on Switch).
Frozen in Time begins with Sub-Zero making a version of himself out of ice, then rushing forward and tripping his opponent up. They fly through the air and get impaled on the spear the ice Sub-Zero is holding, which looks rather painful. It’s not a good Sub-Zero Fatality without a spine pulling, though, and this one doesn’t disappoint as he reaches in and pulls the impaled foe’s spine and skull right out of him. As a finishing touch, he impales the skull on the spear as well, sending an eyeball flying. Always with the eyeballs…
