V Rising Teleport – You Cannot Teleport While Carrying Resources Explained
Regardless of whether you went for PVP or PVE in the server selection, the teleport mechanic in V Rising is an essential resource, but one that can be confusing at times.
If you’re wondering about the “you cannot teleport while carrying resources” error in V Rising, that means you have to empty your pockets before doing so. You can still carry elements such as your weapons (axes, hammers, swords, and so on) as well as your equipment (armor pieces, accessories, etc.) without issues. That being said, any resources (stones, animal hides, copper, iron, and so on) can’t be carried with you.
This may be a way to prevent you from losing them in case you teleport yourself to a dangerous zone or if there’s any sort of error during a teleport. It can be a bit of a pain if you just want to teleport yourself back to your base or somewhere close to it, forcing you to either drop your loot or just embrace the walk. But at the moment, that’s how it works.
Once you have a chest in your base, I recommend leaving all resources in there before you head off to explore. Chests don’t have that many slots, so building at least two of them can go a long way (and may help to organize different types of resources, too, if you’d like). At the end of the day, if you’re in a PVP server, you’re almost always at risk of losing your resources one way or the other.
V Rising Teleport Explained – How to Teleport to Vampire Waygates
If you’re not carrying resources with you and find a Vampire Waygate, teleporting is as easy as interacting with it and selecting your destination. That being said, you won’t have access to all Vampire Waygates at once — you’re going to have to manually explore the map and get close enough to them so they’re added to the map. Once they’re discovered, you can go ahead and use them — there’s no need to manually interact with each waygate in order to add it to your map, which saves a ton of time that can be otherwise spent drinking blood.
