This week, you’ll find our good buddy Xur on the Tower, behind Dead Orbit. You know, that area of the Tower that isn’t really used for much of anything lately? Head east and you’ll find him lurking in the northwest corner of the Hangar area.
What’s he selling? This week, you can grab the following from him:
- The Jade Rabbit: 29 Legendary Shards
- Mechaneer’s Tricksleeves: 23 Legendary Shards
- Ashen Wake: 23 Legendary Shards
- The Stag: 23 Legendary Shards
- Isochronal Engram: 97 Legendary Shards
- Invitation quest: 9 Legendary Shards
It’s worth noting that Exotic armor now rolls with one of three different Elemental types, as well as a variable number of total stat points. We’ll tell you both of those in the listings below.
The Jade Rabbit
This is a Scout Rifle with a perk that causes body shots to increase damage on the next precision hit. Not the best since you should be aiming for precision shots anyway, but after a recent boost to Scout Rifle damage, The Jade Rabbit is totally usable. If you’re looking for a weapon to help you grind out those Scout Rifle kills in the Crucible for Randy’s Throwing Knife, this is a good candidate.
Mechaneer’s Tricksleeves
Hunters get so many wonderful Exotics in Destiny 2, but they can’t all be winners. The Mechaneer’s Tricksleeves boost Sidearm ready and reload speed, as well as increasing Sidearm damage when you’ve been hit. If you’re a die-hard Sidearm user, then go for it. Even then, though, there are far better Exotic choices. This instance of the Tricksleeves is Solar elemental and has a stat total of 48.
Ashen Wake
These Titan gauntlets cause your Fusion Grenades to explode immediately upon impact, while also increasing their flight speed. There’s almost zero reason to use these. If they made your grenades recharge faster or do more damage, they might be worth considering. Unless they get buffed, they’re one of the worse Exotics a Titan could equip. This version is Solar elemental and has a stat total of 48.
The Stag
A Warlock hood that gives you Rift energy when your shields are depleted and drops a healing rift when you die — you know, that thing you generally want to avoid. It kind of looks neat, but it’s pretty lackluster. If you find yourself dying a lot, maybe you could use it to help out your team? Warlocks are hard up for useful Exotics, but we can do better than this, gang. Void elemental, stat total of 48.
Isochronal Engram
Xur’s Isochronal Engram now includes Year Two Exotics, so if you’re missing any of those you can grab this to fill out your collection.
