Season of the Wish returns some of Destiny 2: Forsaken's destinations, activities, characters, and the cats. Yeah, remember those cat statues you could give rice cakes to around the Dreaming City? The Familiar Felines triumph for Season of the Wish has players find 14 Starcats to get the Wyrmguard Ghost shell.
The Secrets tab under Season of the Wish's triumphs hints at each Starcat location, and Destiny 2 will unlock more hints throughout the next few weeks. When you find these astral cats, presenting them with a gift rewards you with Legendary gear.
Blind Well Starcat Location
"Within the Blind Well, this Starcat likes to wait by the door."
If you've been playing through the Wishing All The Best quest, you may have stumbled upon one of the astral cats in the Blind Well activity. Load into the activity and head to the giant door in the back of the arena.
Garden of Plenty Starcat Location
"Within the Garden of Plenty in Riven's Lair, this Starcat likes to peer down from a place of power."
Jump into Riven's Lair from the HELM. The activity has different paths, but the Garden of Plenty area is accessible through the Polysemy objective. After you enter through the Garden of Plenty portal in Riven's Lair, run across the map towards a large rock with trees. On the edge of the cliff, beside the rock, you'll find another Starcat. The seasonal Wishing All the Best quest takes players through Polysemy too.
Temple of the Queen's Wrath Starcat Location
"Within the Temple of the Queen's Wrath in Riven's Lair, this Starcat likes to hide in nooks."
This Starcat can be found in the Temple of the Queen's Wrath area, which is accessible through the Tautology Riven's Lair objective. Step 10 of the Wishing All The Best quest will take you directly to the Tautology mission. When you reach the Temple of the Queen's Wrath, defeat the waves of enemies and light the torches. Face the giant statue at the center of the arena then turn right and head through the pillars to the side of the room. The Temple of the Queen's Wrath Starcat hides behind another statue.
Chamber of Starlight Starcat Location
"Within the Chamber of Starlight Lost Sector, this Starcat likes to calculate gravity."
Reach the end of the Chamber of Starlight lost sector, this Starcat sits to the right of the chest. On a circular platform, there is a desk with plates and a chalice, the Starcat is also sitting on that desk.
Bay of Drowned Wishes Starcat Location
"Within the Bay of Drowned Wishes Lost Sector, this Starcat likes pondering orbs."
Get to the end of the lost sector, this Starcat sits near the chest. In the Bay of Drowned Wishes, the Starcat sits next to round Scorn bombs.
Aphelion's Rest Starcat Location
"Within the Aphelion's Rest Lost Sector, this Starcat likes to sit in the bowl."
At the end of the Aphelion's Rest lost sector, you'll find Starcat above the chest, sitting in a large bowl that's under a circular light.
Gnashing Chamber Starcat Location
"Within the Gnashing Chamber in Riven's Lair, this Starcat appreciates fine art."
In the Enthymeme path of Riven's Lair, you can find the Starcat on a table near the center of the room. The cat sits next to a cat statue, and this table also has three floating lights. Step 21 of the Wishing All the Best quest takes players through the Enthymeme mission.
Reaver's Orison Starcat Location
"Within the Reaver's Orison in Riven's Lair, this Starcat likes to root around."
This Starcat is in Reaver's Orison area that you can access through the Apophasis path in Riven's Lair. Step 27 in the Wishing All the Best quest takes you into Apophasis too. When you enter Reaver's Orison, there is a dead tree with exposed roots to the right. The Starcat sits at the bottom of the tree trunk, under the roots.
Cell of the Sycophant Location
"Within the Cell of the Sychophant in Riven's Lair, this Starcat likes to hide in shrubbery."
Through Step 33 of the Wishing All the Best quest, you can jump into the Synchisis mission to find this Starcat. The Riven’s Lair activity gives access to the Sychisis path, in case you already completed Step 33. When you reach the Cell of the Sycophant area, clear the area to make it easier to grab the Starcat.
Spine of Keres Location
"Spine of Keres: Keeps Techeuns company."
From the Divalian Mists in the Dreaming City, head Spine of Keres. Turning left at the fork takes you to the Spine of Keres, if you enter Rheasilvia, you’ve gone the wrong way. Follow the path that leads to the towering building and head up the spiraling staircase to get to the Starcat that sits next to a Techeun.
Harbinger’s Seclude Location
"Within the Harbinger's Seclude, this Starcat likes to spend time with friends."
When you reach Harbinger’s Seclude under Rheasilvia — which you can get to from the back of the region by taking an elevator down — walk over to the Muninn Ahamkara skull. The Starcat is behind the table with the skull. You can use the portal in Harbinger’s Seclude to access the Confluence.
Gardens of Esila Location
"Within the Gardens of Esila, this Starcat likes to hide near the water's edge."
Gardens of Esila has the giant gazebo in The Strand region. You can use one of the three portals from the Confluence to get to Gardens of Esila or drive your sparrow there. Exit the gazebo and look under the small bridge with a stream flowing beneath it to find this Starcat.
Confluence Location
"Withing the Confluence, this Starcat likes to stare into the void."
You can reach the Confluence through three portals around the Dreaming City — the portal under the gazebo in the Gardens of Esila may be the easiest one to access. The center of the Confluence is a circular room that divides into four different doorways, but go to the Taken room that has the portal for the Shattered Throne dungeon. Near the giant portal, you’ll find this Starcat.
Astral Cloister Location
"Within the Astral Cloister in Riven's Lair, this Starcat likes to enjoy its solitude."
