The Destiny 2 Arc Fragments are bound to cause some disruption in both PVE and PVP with the release of Season 18. While Lightfall is still on the far horizon, The Witch Queen still has a ton of tricks up its sleeve, and a new season is forthcoming to keep on expanding storylines and season passes while shortening our vault inventory spaces. This guide explains what to expect in terms of Arc 3.0 Fragments in Destiny 2 and how to unlock them.
Destiny 2 Arc Fragments List – All 3.0 Fragments
Bungie has shared a few of the upcoming fragments for Arc 3.0 coming in the new season. We’ll update this guide once we have the full list, but if you want to take a peek and see what to expect, you can find the list below:
- Spark of Beacons: When the player is amplified, Arc special weapon kills create a blinding explosion
- Spark of Resistance: When surrounded by enemies, the player has increased damage resistance
- Spark of Momentum: Sliding over ammo will reload your weapon and grant a small amount of melee energy. Sliding over Heavy ammo increases the amount of energy granted
- Spark of Shock: The player’s Arc grenades jolt enemies
We’ll see how everything plays out in the game, but for now, it sounds like a promising prospect for those who have been waiting for the 3.0 rework of this subclass.
How to Unlock the Destiny 2 Arc Fragments During Arc 3.0
While we only got a glimpse ahead of what to expect, we’re still waiting on confirmation to know the exact steps to unlock the Fragments for Arc 3.0 in game. That being said, if we take into consideration how it worked for the Solar 3.0 Fragments, it may be as simple as heading over to The Tower and chatting with Ikora. Of course, the 3.0 menu is going to be available in your character screen from the get-go, but this is going to allow you to get your hands in Fragments you don’t have, as well as the Arc Grenades. For reference, the former cost around 25,000 Glimmer, while the latter are way cheaper at 3,000 Glimmer a pop.
That’s all you need to know about the Arc 3.0 Fragments for the time being. Make sure to start saving up some Glimmer ahead of time so you can access the upgrades and abilities that best suit your playstyle, and of course, be prepared to see all sorts of wild combinations on display when you jump into Crucible.
If you’re looking for more help, we have guides covering how to unlock the Solar 3.0 fragments and grenades, how to get the new Jotunn catalyst, how to farm Vestiges of Dread and Opulent Umbral Energy, all Exotics, new weapon Patterns, seasonal mods, and Season of the Haunted triumphs. In addition, we’re covering all patch notes, bugs and top issues, Bound in Sorrow quest steps, and Calus Bobbleheads. We’ve covered how to get Opulent Keys, Bound Presence in Containment, Crown of Sorrow H.E.L.M. upgrades, Iron Banner Seal Triumphs, and the Trespasser Catalyst. And lastly, we’ve written on how to find a Loyalist Commander for Battles Lines Triumph and the Cek’ik Boss.
