Destiny 2 Season of the Chosen Mods Guide - New Seasonal & Elemental Well Mods

As per usual, a new Destiny 2 season means an all-new seasonal artifact. But what seasonal mods are available for it? Which powerful combinations will we be able to make this time around? If you’re unfamiliar with seasonal artifacts we have a rundown below including the new seasonal mods you can unlock with it. Plus, we find out what Bungie is offering in regards to new weapon and armor mods.

New Elemental Well Mods

Similar to Charged with Light or Warmind Cells, this season introduces Elemental Well Mods. When you have these equipped Elemental Wells will drop from your foes. Picking these up gives energy to whatever ability currently has the lowest energy. If the element matches your subclass, all of your abilities get energy instead.

  • Elemental Charge (2) – Become Charged with Light by picking up an elemental well. If the elemental well’s element type matches your subclass element, you gain 2 stacks of Charged with Light.
  • Elemental Ordinance (3) – Defeating a combatant with a grenade spawns an elemental well that matches your subclass energy type.
  • Elemental Light (1) – Defeating a combatant with your Super spawns an elemental well that matches your subclass energy type.
  • Elemental Armaments (2) – Weapons takedowns with a damage type that matches your subclass element have an escalating chance to spawn an elemental well.
  • Font of Might (4) – Picking up an elemental well that matches your subclass energy type grants a temporary bonus to weapon damage of that same type.
  • Font of Wisdom (4) – Picking up an elemental well that matches your subclass energy type grants a temporary significant increase in your Intellect, improving the recharge rate of your Super.

How to Unlock and Rank Up the Bell of Conquests Seasonal Artifact

You get the Bell of Conquests after completing your first Battlegrounds run on Nessus. After that, just bring it to HELM and get it activated!

Once you’ve unlocked it, you’ll need some time to actually upgrade the artifact itself. The artifact has an infinite number of levels which can advance your Power Level above the hard cap. Artifact levels will cost more and more XP as you increase its power. If you’ve spent a bunch of time upgrading last season’s artifact, those levels have vanished and you’ll need to start the process again.

Bell of Conquest Mods – Seasonal Artifact Mods

Long before you hit the hard level cap you’ll unlock each of the different mod tiers. In total you’ll be able to select up to 12 artifact mods to have unlocked at any given point. Keep in mind that because of the artifact limitations, at most, you can have two of the final column mods unlocked.

Column 1 Weapon Mods – Requires 0 Previous Unlocks

  • Overload Bow (1) – Damage by fully drawn arrows disrupts combatants, stunning them, delaying ability energy regeneration and lowering combatant damage output. Strong against Overload Champions.
  • Unstoppable Pulse Rifle (1) – Aiming down sights with any Pulse Rifle you are wielding loads a powerful explosive payload that stuns unshielded combatants. Strong against Unstoppable Champions.
  • Anti-Barrier Scout Rifle (1) – Scout Rifles you are wielding fire shield-piercing rounds and stun Barrier Champions. Scout Rifles deal bonus damage against Barrier Champions.
  • Unstoppable Hand Cannon (1) – Aiming down sights with any Hand Cannon you are wielding loads a powerful explosive payload that stuns unshielded combatants. Strong against Unstoppable Champions.
  • Overload Submachine Gun (1) – Uninterrupted fire from your equipped SMGs grants bullets that stun combatants, delaying ability energy regeneration and lowering combatant damage output. Strong against Overload Champions.

Column 2 Armor Mods – Requires 1 Previous Unlocks

  • Scout and Sniper Rifle Targeting (2 Helmet) – Improves targeting for Scout Rifles and Sniper Rifles.
  • Scout Rifle Loader (1 Arms) – Increases reload speed of Scout Rifles.
  • Bow Dexterity (1 Arms) – Faster ready and stow speed for Bows.
  • Sniper Rifle Dexterity (1 Arms) – Faster ready and stow speed for Sniper Rifles.
  • Sidearm Dexterity (1 Arms) – Faster ready and stow speed for Sidearms.

Column 3 Armor Mods – Requires 4 Previous Unlocks

  • Unflinching Scout Rifle Aim (1 Chest) – Reduces flinching from incoming fire while aiming Scout Rifles.
  • Sniper Rifle Scavenger (1 Legs) – Sniper Rifles get bonus reserves when you pick up Special ammo.
  • Bow Reloader (1 Arms) – Increases reload speed of Bows.
  • Unflinching Sniper Rifle Aim (1 Chest) – Reduces flinching from incoming fire while aiming Sniper Rifles.
  • Submachine Gun Loader (1 Arms) – Increases reload speed of Submachine Guns.

Column 4 Armor Mods – Requires 7 Previous Unlocks

  • Anti-Barrier Sniper Rifle (6 Arms) – Sniper Rifles you are wielding fire shield-piercing rounds and stun Barrier Champions. Scout Rifles deal bonus damage against Barrier Champions.
  • Disrupting Blade (6 Arms) – Landing consecutive hits with any Sword you are wielding disrupts combatants, stunning them, delaying ability energy regeneration and lowering combatant damage output. Strong against Overload Champions.
  • Resonance Siphon (2 Class) – Gain Stasis ability energy whenever you or a member of your fireteam stuns a Champion.
  • Surge Detonators (2 Class) – Arc grenades disrupt combatants, stunning them, delaying ability regeneration and lowering combatant damage output. Strong against Overload Champions.
  • Inferno Whip (2 Class) – Solar melee abilities stun unshielded combatants. Strong against Unstoppable Champions.

Column 5 Class Item Mods – Requires 10 Previous Unlocks

  • Focusing Lens (3 Class) – Your Light abilities do bonus damage to combatants affected by Stasis.
  • Passive Guard (6 Class) – Receive less damage from combatants that are close to you while you are wielding a sword.
  • Glacial Inheritance (6 Class) – Defeating targets with your Stasis Super refunds Super energy.
  • Sundering Glare (6 Class) – Rapid precision hits against distant combatants weaken them for a short duration.
  • Volatile Conduction (6 Class) – Grants bonus Arc Super damage if cast while critically wounded. Lasts until the end of the Super activation.

It’s worth noting that just like every other season artifact has, the Bell of Conquest expires at the end of this season. It will take all of your power bonus and seasonal mods with it. Thankfully, artifact progress is shared across all of your characters! At the very least you won’t have to rank it up multiple times in the same season.
