Snowballs are all around and The Dawning has returned to Destiny 2, along with the holiday-themed series of cosmetics and collectibles. One such piece is the Confectionery Shell for your Ghost that’s available this week for 2,850 Bright Dust at the Eververse store.
A decadent shell. Little gingerbread pieces form around the Ghost to make a facsimile of the classic, angular Ghost Shell. This, plus frosting swirls and little candies on top make it easily the most edible Ghost Shell in the Eververse storefront, at least for now.
The gingerbread-house themed shell is a rare commodity at Eververse, partly because it’s only available during the Dawning every year. Light.gg says this shell in particular is only owned by 17% of Guardians, this means that only a handful of players actually have the Confectionery Shell throughout the Destiny 2 community — even though Confectionary Shell was originally added to the Dawning in 2019.
The Ghost Shell is nearly 3,000 Bright Dust, much like the others in the past, but remember that during the Dawning and other holiday events, all bounties from Eva Levante will reward Bright Dust. This is across all three characters. These event bounties might make it a bit easier to earn enough Bright Dust for the holiday cosmetics for your Ghost!
The other Dawning Ghost shell available through the Eververse store for Bright Dust this week is the Little Helper Shell, featuring a small elf-hat. This Ghost shell also runs at 2,850 Bright Dust, and is the only other Ghost cosmetic here for just the first week of Dawning 2023. This week, Eververse is also selling a brand-new Dawning shader too. Both Ghost shells and the shader will leave after reset on December 19, so get them with that saved up Bright Dust.
