All 6 New Perks Added in Destiny 2 Season of the Lost

Shoot to Loot in the Looter Shooter.

While new weapons bring along new visuals and an updated feel to Destiny 2’s looter shooter gameplay, nothing can truly change things up like an abundance of new perks to utilize. With the launch of Season of the Lost today, Bungie has added six new Legendary perks. In this guide, we’ll list all of them and tell you exactly which guns can roll with them.

One thing to note is that these perks are largely contained within the season’s new weapons or added to existing prestige weapons like those from Trials of Osiris. Don’t expect to see them everywhere, though they may be more widely used after future updates.

Shoot to Loot

Shooting an ammo brick picks it up and automatically reloads all of your equipped weapons from reserves.

Rolls on: Vulpecula, Servant Leader, Wolftone Draw.

Now that infinite primary ammo is a thing, this is less useful. It’s something that’s nice to have when you’re in a high difficulty activity and need that heavy ammo across the map, but by no means is it going to be required.

Headstone

Precision final blows spawn a Stasis crystal at the victim’s location.

Rolls on: Vulpecula, Peacebond, Reed’s Regret, Reed’s Regret (Adept)

At a glance, Headstone looks to be one of the strongest perks in this pool. Stasis crystals are at a premium when it comes to those subclasses and having a new way to generate them should give it a decent power boost.

Harmony

Final blows with other weapons improve this weapon’s damage and performance for a short duration.

Rolls on: Vulpecula, Servant Leader, Fractethyst, Peacebond, Chrysura Melo, Sorrow’s Verse, Wolftone Draw, Iota Draconis, Punching Out, Shayura’s Wrath, Shayura’s Wrath (Adept), Reed’s Regret, Reed’s Regret (Adept)

This is the type of perk you want on a weapon that you switch to after killing lots of folks with another gun. Say you kill a lot of thrall with your primary before switching to an energy weapon meant to deal with yellow bar enemies, that’s where this is useful.

Ensemble

Improved handling and reload speed when allies are nearby.

Rolls on: The Last Breath, Judgment, Vulpecula, Fractethyst, Eye of Sol, Eye of Sol (Adept), Chrysura Melo, Wolftone Draw, Iota Draconis, The Comedian, The Comedian (Adept), The Long Walk, Canis Major, The Hothead, The Hothead (Adept)

Whether you’re charging head first into enemies or hanging back and sniping as a group, Ensemble will give you a small buff for doing so.

Encore

Precision final blows grant a stacking range bonus to this weapon. Non-precision final blows remove range stacks but grant bonus accuracy and stability when all range stacks have been removed.

Rolls on: Judgment, Vulpecula, The Messenger, The Messenger (Adept), Chrysura Melo, Sorrow’s Verse, Igneous Hammer, Igneous Hammer (Adept), Punching Out

This is an interesting perk in that it rewards lots of precision final blows, but also doesn’t punish you for non-precision kills, instead it provides accuracy and stability. It may end up being a situation where you don’t even go for the precision final blows for SMGs and the like, instead just accepting the other buffs.

Adagio

After defeating a target, this weapon fires, charges, or draws more slowly and deals increased damage for a brief time.

Rolls on: The Last Breath, Judgment, Vulpecula, Fratethyst, Wolftone Draw, Iota Draconis, Canis Major, Reed’s Regret, Reed’s Regret (Adept)

We aren’t sure how much of a timing penalty Adagio gives, but it could be a decent buff in PVE activities.
